Notes we leave open.

On clothes, days, and wearing things slowly.

Somewhere along the way, we started saving clothes. For weddings. For functions. For days that felt important enough. The rest of the days — the ordinary ones — were treated lightly. But most of life doesn’t arrive dressed as an occasion. It arrives quietly. In work mornings. In chai breaks. In errands. In pauses between things. And maybe those days deserve good clothes too. At AB, we’ve always been drawn to sarees that don’t ask questions. Sarees that don’t demand jewellery. That don’t wait for a moment to be justified. The kind you can wear to work and forget you’re wearing — until someone tells you that you look nice. Not because it’s new. But because it looks lived in already. We don’t believe clothes need permission. You don’t need a reason to wear silk. You don’t need a festival to dress well. You don’t need to save your favourite piece for later. Later is uncertain. Today is not. This isn’t a rule. Just a note we keep returning to. — AB

On wearing sarees without waiting for a reason

20.12.2025

There’s a strange pressure in fashion to always have something new. A new drop. A new collection. A reason to announce yourself again. Somewhere along the way, newness started feeling more important than rightness. At AB, we don’t launch every week — not because we can’t, but because we don’t want to. We’ve learned that when things arrive too often, they stop being noticed. They’re scrolled past. Forgotten. Replaced quickly. Good clothes don’t behave like that. They stay. They wait. They grow familiar. We’d rather spend time choosing than rushing to release. We’d rather edit than overwhelm. We’d rather let a piece earn its place instead of filling space. Not everything we see makes it here. And not everything that makes it here needs to arrive immediately. We believe restraint is a form of respect — for the craft, for the wearer, and for time itself. This isn’t a strategy. It’s just how we like to work. — AB

Why we don’t launch every week

12.01.2026

There’s a lot written about fabrics. Thread counts. Origins. Technical names. Descriptions that try very hard to convince. But some fabrics don’t need all that. You touch them once and you know. They sit easily on the body. They fall without effort. They feel comfortable without being announced. At AB, we pay attention to that first feeling. Not every saree needs a long explanation to justify itself. Sometimes the rightness is immediate — quiet, but certain. We still respect technique and craftsmanship deeply. But we don’t believe knowledge should come between you and intuition. If a fabric makes you want to wear it again the next day, that’s already a kind of understanding. Not everything needs to be decoded. Some things are simply felt. — AB

On wearing sarees without waiting for a reason

Why we don’t launch every week

A note on repeating outfits

We’ve been taught that repeating outfits is something to avoid.

As if wearing something again makes it less special.

As if familiarity takes away value.

But some of the most loved clothes in our wardrobes are the ones we repeat.

The ones that fit just right.

The ones we reach for without thinking.

The ones that begin to feel like us.

Repeating an outfit doesn’t mean a lack of choice.

It means clarity.

It means knowing what works for you — and returning to it.

At AB, we believe clothes become meaningful through repetition.

Through memory.

Through days lived in them.

A saree worn once stays beautiful.

A saree worn often becomes personal.

And there’s something quietly confident about that.

Who the Guava Club is really for

The Guava Club was never meant to be exclusive.

But it was always meant to be selective — in a different way.

It isn’t for people who want more.

It’s for people who want right.

For those who don’t chase trends urgently.

Who don’t need newness every week.

Who trust their own sense of style more than approval.

It’s for people who repeat outfits.

Who keep favourites.

Who wear sarees as part of life, not just ceremonies.

The Guava Club isn’t something you sign up for.

It’s something you recognise in yourself.

A shared way of seeing things.

A quiet understanding.

If this makes sense to you,

you already know where you belong.

On choosing fewer things, more carefully

Choice has become endless.

More colours.

More drops.

More options than anyone truly needs.

And yet, choosing feels harder than ever.

At AB, we’ve learned that fewer choices often bring more clarity.

When there’s less to sort through, you listen better — to your instinct, to your comfort, to what actually fits your life.

Choosing carefully isn’t about owning less.

It’s about owning with intention.

About knowing why something stayed with you.

About trusting that you don’t need everything — just the right things.

We believe good purchases don’t create noise in your wardrobe.

They create ease.

And ease, over time, becomes confidence.
